A conversation between David Chalmers and Joe Cornish.
When I met landscape photographer Joe Cornish, he showed great interest in my work. He asked for a one-to-one carbon printing masterclass and in return he kindly donated his time and joined me in the gallery at Woodend for an artists talk.
The conversation is informative and helps to cover many questions that are often asked about large format photography and my ‘Carbon to Carbon’ project.

Excellent, sorry I couldn´t see the pictures “in the flesh”! A wonderful technique and I found the carbon to carbon aspect of your process simply fantastic and very elegant! Somehow using the carbon from that wood is like the whole cycle of creation (without the religious connotations)
